Magdeburg Christmas market attacker sentenced to life in prison

A Magdeburg court has sentenced a 51-year-old to life over his 2024 attack on a Christmas market in the city. The trained psychiatrist drove an SUV through a barricade and into a crowd, killing six and injuring hundreds.
