Somalia: Somaliland Marks 66th Independence, Reaffirms Sovereignty

[Horn Diplomat] Hargeisa -- Somaliland celebrated the 66th anniversary of its independence from Britain on Thursday, with President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi Irro reaffirming the country's sovereignty, national unity and commitment to democratic statehood during a state ceremony in Hargeisa.
